So our awesome team of Fax Guys and Fax Girls took a little vay-cay to Northern Minnesota to get away from the day-to-day tasks, grow as a team, celebrate our 
being named {For the 4th straight year! Whoo-hoo!} to the Minnesota Business Magazine “Best 100 Companies to Work For” list and RELAX! It was a great few days for our Minnesota office to connect with our out-of-state team members. We stayed at a wonderful resort, golfed, ate some amazing food, took in the scenery, played games, enjoyed bonfires & boat rides and took naps. Doesn’t that sound fun and relaxing? It was! We highly recommend it!
We are not afraid to mix a little fun in with our work. It’s good for everyone!
One thing we all kept commenting on during our stay was the friendliness of the entire resort staff. From the college kid pulling weeds to the guy refreshing our firewood, to the dining service staff to the crazy-fun bartender Laura. They all were SO extremely Minnesota-nice! Why was that so shocking and noticeable? Well, for starters, it’s rare these days to get a smile or eye contact from anyone. Looking up from a phone or from pulling weeds, just doesn’t seem to happen as often as it should. It’s the little things that really can make a company stand out. Yes, these folks are in the hospitality biz, but they clearly “get it”, they practice what they preach and it made an impression on all of us.
Taking 10 seconds, to stop what you’re doing, smile and say hello is all it takes. We strive to make that kind of impression on our customers and friends. It’s a win-win. We hope we make you feel the way we felt at that resort.
