RightFax Current vs. Sustaining Maintenance

It has come to our attention that there is some confusion around the topic of OpenText RightFax Support Lifecycle definitions, so we thought we’d clear things up a bit. Here goes!

OpenText will support new versions of RightFax for {5} years following the release date. This is known as “Current Maintenance”.  After {3} years, RightFax software versions move to “Sustained Maintenance” at this time, there will be no new development for service packs, patches, or hot fixes.

So what does this mean to you? If you are running a version that has reached Sustained Maintenance, you can continue to operate as usual, but your options for support will be decreased greatly. Not to sound alarming, but it’s likely time to upgrade. Check out the chart below to see how upgrading to the most current version is advantageous to you. If you’re not sure which stage your version is in? Check here for a complete list of RightFax versions. {Not sure which version you are running? We can help! Call us!}

We make upgrading super-simple! Click here for easy upgrading OR give us a call. We are always available to answer your questions and help you determine if upgrading is right for you. 952.224.3340 Option 1
