Did you know you could be running a version of RightFax that is no longer supported by OpenText?  Each new version of RightFax comes with its own expiration date. Generally, OpenText will provide patches and bug fixes to each version for a period of at least eighteen (18) months after the subsequent version is made available to subscribers of the Software Maintenance Program and its licensees (whew, that was a mouthful!)

In the best interest of our customers, The Fax Guys strive to assist users as much as possible even after support ends with OpenText. Please note, once a version has reached End Of Life, we are unable to escalate to OpenText for issues with that version, should a need arise.

For a technology that does not get a ton of hype, faxing is more robust than ever and the options just keep getting better! For starters, did you know that RightFax 9.4 has now reached end-of-development? As of May 31, 2014 OpenText is no longer providing patches or bug fixes to versions that have met their end-of-development date. What that means for you (anyone still running v9.4 or older): time to have a discussion about upgrading. It’s really easy to determine if you are a candidate for upgrading to RightFax 10.6, with just a few simple questions:
